Everyone deserves to feel safe loved and protected. If you are in a situation where you are being abused please reach out to someone for support. you can do so via phone call or online chat. If you are fearful that your phone is being monitored take these steps to reach out for help.
1. Make the call and delete the call after.
2. If you are still concerned about your partner finding logs through remote technology. Use the internet through google voice or skype to make the call then clear your browsing history.
3. If you have neighbors or close friends and family members that you visit, use their phone to make the call.
4. Lastly you can use a community phone to make the call. Libraries, healthcare centers and public schools are some ideal places to access this support. 

FREE LEGAL HELP - LEGAL AID OF NC

Utilize court orders to order your abuser not to abuse, harass, or threaten you, not to contact you. You can exclude the abuser from the residence, your workplace, school or other locations that you frequent. Have the courts award you temporary child custody, order your abuser to pay spousal or child support, prohibit your abuser from possessing or buying a gun and/or order your abuser to attend a treatment program.
